Flemish Minister-President visits ZÜBLIN Timber

On Tuesday, 18 November 2025, our sister company ZÜBLIN Timber had the pleasure of welcoming Flemish Minister-President Matthias Diependaele, together with a delegation of around 50 representatives from the Flemish economy and politics, to their site in Aichach. Their visit was part of a three-day trade mission through Bavaria.

The company visit, co-organised by the Belgian federation of the wood and furniture industry Fedustria and coordinated by Martin Schimpf (Head of International Tenders at ZÜBLIN Timber), offered fascinating insights into the production process and the latest innovations in modern timber construction.

Our colleagues at ZÜBLIN Timber were delighted by the strong interest shown by the Belgian guests in sustainable timber construction solutions and their open-minded view beyond the sector’s borders. The tour was entirely dedicated to knowledge exchange, inspiration, and exploring potential collaborations.

Tom Bosman (Technical Director STRABAG Belgium, South/West Region) also attended the working visit of the Flemish delegation. His presence demonstrates the excellent cross-border networking opportunities and collaborations possible within the STRABAG Group.
