History

The STRABAG Group, now active worldwide, has its origins in the Carinthian company ILBAU, with predecessors dating back to 1835, and in STRABAG itself, founded in 1895 in Germany. Over the years, the company has grown - partly through acquisitions - into one of the largest construction groups in Europe.
