The internal Central Services (CS) department is the technical backbone of STRABAG Belgium and Züblin Nederland. The team of engineers with different specialisations, architects, BIM employees, LEAN experts, application managers, etc. supports the colleagues in Belgium and the Netherlands with the designs, technical studies, digital processes and various specialized work areas.

Quality, safety, planning and budgets are central to the choice of construction methodology. Together with the executing team, CS looks for optimisations or alternatives, leading to an efficient, time- and cost-saving construction process.

CS is part of the project team structure and works closely with the operational units, client, architect and engineering firm to further fine-tune each construction project throughout the construction process. In doing so, the department uses the most up-to-date software for the preparation of calculation notes, schedules, BIM models, risk analyses or optimisations.
Central Services also ensures the integration and proper functioning of the digital process: from calculation, to project follow-up, to invoice processing, and everything in between. Where possible, the necessary links are made between the various applications and the process is automated.

Under the motto "Work On Progress," CS also serves as a competence center. Acquired knowledge is inventoried and distributed among employees. As a result, the organisation always has a ready-made response to changing market situations and ever-changing standards, requirements and specifications.

Central Services in turn cooperates with Zentrale Technik and STRABAG Innovation & Digitalisation of STRABAG SE. With more than 1,100 engineers, these are true centers of excellence in technical & digital know-how.
