Foundation Stone for WOL U

On Wednesday 26 November, the foundation stone was laid in Zaventem for WOL U, a new residential development in the Woluwe Valley that creates space for both people and nature, with sustainable homes and a green park landscape of no less than 22,000 m².

The ceremonial stone was laid by Bart Dewandeleer, Alderman for Spatial Planning and Housing, in the presence of Alexis Spaas, Senior Project Developer at ION develop different, and Tom Bosman, Technical Director at STRABAG Belgium, South/West Region.

The project comprises seven buildings that blend seamlessly into the green surroundings. Together, they will provide 199 apartments, complemented by facilities for childcare, professional practices and retail space.
