STRABAG Belgium launches renovation of the BMW Belux office site in Bornem

Antwerp, April 25

At the end of January, STRABAG Belgium commenced works on the renovation of the BMW Belux office site in Bornem. Delivered as a Design & Build project on behalf of BMW Belgium Luxembourg, the project aims to create a modern, flexible and sustainable working environment.

Within this project, STRABAG Belgium acts as the Design & Build partner, responsible for design coordination and structural engineering. The design was developed by VA NG, PUUR and OMGEVING.

Project overview

The project involves a comprehensive redevelopment of the existing site, with particular focus on functionality, user experience and sustainability:

• Thorough renovation of the existing office buildings
• Conversion of a former warehouse into a light-filled daylight gallery
• Redesign of the outdoor areas, with emphasis on mobility, water management and greening
• Integration of sustainable technologies, including: energy-efficient climate solutions, water buffering systems and renewable energy
