On Hasselt’s Dusartplein, STRABAG Belgium constructed ‘Residentie Books’, a distinctive nine-storey residential building with a unique architectural concept.
The project takes its name from its distinctive design, which resembles an open bookcase.
It comprises two residential blocks with a total of 37 luxury apartments ranging from 80 to 250 m², each featuring south-facing terraces. The ground floor includes commercial and office spaces.
Beneath the residential blocks, garages were constructed, creating a connection between the underground car park beneath Place Dusart and the new parking facilities under the Herkenrode Barracks.
At the top of the Books residence lies an exclusive penthouse spread over two floors, complete with three spacious terraces.
