Crystal Building

STRABAG Belgium was awarded the contract for the transformation and renovation of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Brussels.

The works consisted of structural and finishing works. The project required a very high standard of finishing.

The main challenge was the extremely tight deadline: the project had to be completed within 11 months, while part of the office building remained in use throughout the works.

The renovation took place in the Crystal Building, an office building listed in the architectural heritage inventory of the Brussels-Capital Region.
