After successfully completing the Leiespiegel administrative centre in Deinze, STRABAG was commissioned by AGB Stad Deinze to construct the new cultural centre.

The building is designed as a compact volume, with a lower structure in glass and aluminium and an upper section combining glazed and unglazed brickwork. Its most striking feature is the stage tower rising above the theatre stage.

Inside, the cultural centre offers a theatre auditorium with 450 seats. Warm wooden finishes give the hall an inviting character, complemented by advanced technical and acoustic systems for an optimal performance experience.

Beyond the main theatre, the building includes several meeting and multipurpose rooms. The central multipurpose space is modular and can be adapted for both small gatherings and larger events.

Additional facilities include a cafeteria with an outdoor terrace and offices for the culture and events department, making the centre a vibrant hub for cultural life in Deinze.
