STRABAG Belgium was awarded the contract for the turnkey construction of a new multi-storey parking facility at Arenberg Park in Heverlee.
Commissioned by Parkeergebouw BV, a consortium of the surrounding buildings in Arenberg Park and supported by KU Leuven, STRABAG Belgium delivered a nine-storey parking facility.
STRABAG Belgium was responsible for the earthworks, structural works, finishing works and building services of the nine-storey parking structure. The landscaping works around the building were carried out by a separate contractor.
Each floor has an area of 3,000 m², resulting in a total gross floor area of 27,000 m². The building accommodates 850 vehicles.
Construction works started in autumn 2024 and were successfully completed in September 2026.
