Open Wervendag drew many visitors to the Sint-Franciscus Hospital

On Sunday, 31 May, we welcomed a particularly large number of visitors to our construction site for the Sint-Franciscus Hospital in Heusden-Zolder during Open Wervendag. More than 1,200 interested visitors gained an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at this leading healthcare project. Together with our construction partner Bouwbedrijf Keulen H., we are working on the realization of a new, future-oriented hospital wing.

The site is currently in its final construction phase and was meticulously prepared by the site team to safely and professionally receive all visitors. During guided tours of approximately 35 minutes, visitors were introduced to the various future departments of the new hospital wing. Along the way, strong emphasis was placed on visual experience: screens displaying construction footage and impressions of the future interior allowed visitors to clearly envision what the departments will look like once completed. At the same time, explanations were provided about the architectural choices made and how these contribute to a modern, comfortable, and healing care environment.
 
We also had the honor of welcoming several distinguished guests, including Mario Borremans, Mayor of Heusden-Zolder, and a delegation from Embuild, the organization behind Open Wervendag. Their presence highlights not only the importance of this project, but also the role of the sector in developing sustainable and future-oriented infrastructure.
 
We look back with great satisfaction on a highly successful edition of Open Wervendag.
