STRABAG Belgium delivers a wide range of multifunctional buildings and mixed-use projects, from large-scale complexes combining residential, workplace and commercial uses to buildings bringing together specific public, cultural, administrative or operational functions. Combining different programmes within a single project requires a well-considered approach and careful coordination of design, building services, construction and logistics.

From an early stage, we work closely with the client to address the technical feasibility, organisation and execution of the project. We take into account the specific requirements of the building’s different functions and users. A well-considered project strategy, rigorous planning and optimal coordination of the various construction activities provide the basis for an efficient and well-managed construction process, from the first works through to completion.

Our local expertise in areas including BIM, MEP, LEAN and digitalisation supports this integrated approach. It enables the different disciplines to be coordinated at an early stage, technical challenges to be addressed during preparation and planning, and construction processes to be optimised in a targeted way. Depending on the chosen form of collaboration, we can also provide a Design & Build approach, closely aligning design and construction.

When selecting construction methods, we also look for solutions that meet the technical and economic requirements of the project. Where the design and project-specific conditions allow, prefabricated and modular solutions can, for example, be used to organise construction efficiently.

Our local engineering expertise is further strengthened by the knowledge and capabilities of the international STRABAG Group. This gives our teams access to an extensive network of specialist engineering expertise and technical solutions for complex challenges. In this way, we combine local involvement and direct communication with the extensive technical capabilities of an international construction group.
